Fabulous Women of Sonoma County
I am the founder of the nonprofit, The Fabulous Women of Sonoma County.
This grassroots group started in my living room in 2005 with just thirty women and has since grown into a credible organization with several thousand people. This is an inclusive organization. The mission of the group is to raise awareness about meaningful local causes, help families with extraordinary hardship, and support and guide the next generation of social leaders. It is the mission of this organization to foster compassion and humanity in youth.
Several of my current community projects continue to support the work of the Fabulous Women including the Domont Scholarship. This is a fund to grant scholarships to seniors applying for college. Grants are awarded to students who have demonstrated courage, kindness and volunteerism. We wish to support young adults who are pursuing their philanthropic goals and finding unique ways to give back to their local community.
The mission of the group is to raise awareness about meaningful local causes, help families with extraordinary hardship, and support and guide the next generation of social leaders.
The Domont Scholarship was established by the Fabulous Women in 2017 to recognize students who demonstrate compassion, charity, & community spirit. This award is named after Martha Domont.
Join the Fabulous Women of Petaluma for our Soul Sister event! This year we will be having a Sip and Shop fundraiser - the more we shop the more we raise!
